Punx Skins & Sinners: Jerry's Pizza 02/21/2026 MEIJJ, PIG STICK, G.A.H.D., SQUID PISSER

Ok to start off I hadn't heard of Squid Pisser until I seen the flyer for this show so I went to see a new band (well to me anyways) but to also see and support the other bands that I'm friends with. Opening the show were the local band MEIJJ playing their hardcore,noise punk powerviolence, these youngsters keep getting better each time I have seen them play since they had their first band BLACKENED HORIZONS, but this time they introduced their new female singer MERCY. She helped adding more sound to them with the male/female vocals.

Up next from So. Cal were the awesome PIG STICK so you know what to expect from the lyrics with a band name like that. These guys are always great to see and they are good people on top of it, they have had a few member changes since they started out but each time they sound tighter and better.

Next up were Bako's homegrown favorite Crust band G.A.H.D. (GREED AND HUMAN DISGUST), it don't help they I've known most of the members for a long time, they were probably 15 or so when I met them and now they're in there 40's. They are always a great band to go see and the energy that they put out when they are on stage.

The headliner's were new to me but SQUID PISSER were great with their hardcore/noise core sound, well with a member that has been in GWAR and CANCER CHRIST that can kinda give you an idea what they might sound like. They had a great sound and they all had masks on (just be glad that this show wasn't in the middle of the summer here, anyone who has gone to show's in the basement at Jerry's Pizza will know the suffering). The only thing that got to me were all the different colored light and the strobe lights, it added to their set but it was making me dizzy and it made it kinda hard to film.
